Start from McLeod Ganj and trek to Triund (2975m), a 9km trek. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Kangra Valley and Dhauladhar range.

Continue from Triund to Laka Glacier (3600m) or Lahesh Cave (3600m), a shorter trek. The trek to Lahesh Cave is around 7 km. Alternatively, trek to Nag Dal (4350m) from Triund via Lahesh Cave.

Trek from Nag Dal to Lam Dal Lake (4580m), passing Minkiani Pass (4100m). Descend to Kareri Lake (3300m). This day involves a longer trek of about 10 km.

Descend from Kareri Lake to Kareri village (1800m), a 12 km trek. From Kareri village, you can arrange transportation back to McLeod Ganj.
