2. Booking and Payment

Booking Process

• All bookings are subject to availability
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or required deposit

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone

Payment Terms

• Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise
• Prices may change without notice until booking is confirmed

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customer Cancellations

• 30+ days before departure: 90% refund
• 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund
• 7-14 days before departure: 25% refund
• Less than 7 days before departure: No refund
• All cancellations must be submitted in writing

Company Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to insufficient bookings, adverse weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Travel Requirements

Participant Responsibilities

• Must be physically fit for the chosen activity level
• Must disclose any medical conditions or dietary restrictions
• Must carry valid identification documents
• Must follow safety instructions and guidelines
• Must respect local customs and environment

Age Restrictions

• Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Some tours may have specific age requirements
• Age verification may be required at the time of tour

5. Liability and Insurance

Limitation of Liability

HikerHimachal acts as an agent for various service providers. We are not liable for:

• Acts or omissions of third-party service providers
• Personal injury, illness, or death
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Delays or cancellations due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances
• Any losses exceeding the cost of your tour

Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.

6. Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to:

• Weather conditions
• Safety concerns
• Road conditions or closures
• Government regulations
• Operational requirements

We will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives and notify participants of changes as soon as possible.

7. Conduct and Behavior

Participants are expected to:

• Behave respectfully towards guides, other participants, and locals
• Follow all safety instructions and guidelines
• Not engage in illegal activities
• Respect the environment and local culture
• Not consume alcohol or drugs during tours (unless permitted)

We reserve the right to remove participants who violate these terms without refund.

8. Photography and Media

By participating in our tours, you consent to:

• Being photographed or filmed during the tour
• Use of your image for promotional purposes
• Sharing of photos on our website and social media

Please inform us if you prefer not to be included in any promotional materials.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Pandemics or health emergencies
• Government actions or restrictions
• War, terrorism, or civil unrest
• Transportation strikes or disruptions

10. Complaints and Disputes

If you have any complaints about our services:

• Please report issues to your guide or tour leader immediately
• Submit written complaints within 30 days of your tour
• We will investigate and respond within 14 business days
• Disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Himachal Pradesh, India

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and trademarks, is the property of HikerHimachal and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Himachal Pradesh, India.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

14. Changes to Terms
